On March 1st, 2025 Erica Leveille and her 6 week old son, Brody, were involved in a horrific head-on vehicle crash in Redmond, Oregon. Erica suffered multiple broken bones and injuries to her organs and had to be extracted from her vehicle, which took approximately an hour. Brody suffered brain bleeds that caused seizures and was sent by Life Flight to Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland. Erica was then also brought to OHSU in Portland by ambulance. Brody had to be heavily sedated so that his brain could rest and heal. Brody was released from the hospital 3 weeks later and seems to be doing well, although they won’t know whether there are any long lasting effects until he is older. After 29 days Erica was transferred to a rehabilitation center back in Redmond where she will spend the next several weeks, as she is unable to put weight on either foot so can’t walk. During their hospital stay, Erica's boyfriend (Brody's dad) spent every day at the hospital with them, while living out of a hotel. Erika has a long road of recovery ahead of her. Any donation will help them to stay afloat while she heals and they learn what their new “normal” will be.
